Mary Lattimore Announces New Album ‘Goobye, Hotel Arkada’ + Upcoming Tour

Goodbye Hotel Arkada

Harpist and composer Mary Lattimore (she/her) has announced her newest album Goodbye, Hotel Arkada to be released on Ghostly International Records. A collection of six hauntingly beautiful tracks that explore the universality of loss and impermanence, the album’s namesake is a nod to a fading Croatian hotel facing renovation.

Mary discussed about the album with a wistful sense of forlorn about the state of our world:

“When I think of these songs, I think about fading flowers in vases, melted candles, getting older, being on tour and having things change while you’re away, not realizing how ephemeral experiences are until they don’t happen anymore, fear for a planet we’re losing because of greed, an ode to art and music that’s really shaped your life that can transport you back in time, longing to maintain sensitivity and to not sink into hollow despondency.”

Mary has also released her first single from the album, “And Then He Wrapped His Wings Around Me”. You can watch the music video for it below:

The LP will be out on 10/6/23 on Ghostly. You can pre-order by clicking the link here.
