Magnolia Secures Global Rights to ‘Plainclothes’, Scored by Emily Wells

Magnolia Pictures has acquired global rights to the Sundance-winning film Plainclothes, scored by Emily Wells and directed by Carmen Emmi. The thriller starring Tom Blythe and Russell Tovey is planned for a fall 2025 theatrical release.

Emily Wells, Brad Oberhofer, and Taylor Rowley With Films at Sundance 2025

The 2025 Sundance Film Festival program has been announced and features Plainclothes scored by Emily Wells and Bubble & Squeak scored by Brad Oberhofer in the US Dramatic Competition, and By Design music supervised by Taylor Rowley in the NEXT program.
