Arbel Bedak Moderating at 2024 Women Songwriters’ Hall of Fame Award Show Gala

The Women Songwriters Hall of Fame is an organization founded by Dr. Janice McLean DeLoatch that supports up-and-coming female songwriters and empowers the voices of women in music, in an industry where women rarely achieve equal recognition and accolades in comparison to their male counterparts.

This year will mark the 4th Annual Award Show Gala, a fundraiser in support of scholarships for women in music. Spectra Creative Agency is proud to be hosting this year's industry panel, which will be moderated by our very own Arbel Bedak at the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington DC on Saturday June 8th. The panel will feature music supervisor and Warp Publishing's new US Head of Publishing Jocelyn Michelle Brown, songwriter and owner of Tomgirl Music & Sound Abby Diamond, and songwriter/recording artist Lundon Knighten. The award show will also take place Saturday June 8th, which will be preceded by a social mixer Friday June 7th.

This year’s WSHOF inductee will be American songwriter and multimedia artist Allee Willis, with a silent auction of a Barbara Streisand item and a performance by Women on Fire to take place.
