Tangelene Bolton Scores Blumhouse Thriller Feature ‘Unseen’

Tangelene Bolton (she/her) has scored the incredibly suspenseful music of Unseen, a horror/thriller feature from Blumhouse TV and MGM+, directed by Yoko Okumura. Starring Midori Francis, Jolene Purdy and Missi Pyle, the film unfolds as a store clerk named Sam (Jolene Purdy) receives a video call from a blinded stranger (Midori Francis) who is fleeing from her murderous ex and needs Sam to be her eyes.

Tangelene skillfully crafts suspenseful and unnerving vacuums of tension using distorted electric guitars, ticking industrial percussion, and ghostly synths that warble and bellow with ominous intent. Viewers will be gripping the edge of their seats throughout as their heart rates climb with each successive buildup of pressure and anticipation of what’s around the corner.
