Steve Horner Scores 'Miracle' Animated Short for TAIKO and Silk Road Paradise

Steve Horner has once again teamed up with TAIKO Animation Studio, with whom he previously scored the Oscar-nominated animated short film One Small Step as well as the animated short Pangu, to provide the original music and sound design for Miracle, the official animated short film for Silk Road Paradise. The film is a domestic cultural tourism project for China and is a representative work of “Telling Chinese Stories and Spreading Chinese Voice” and introduces the themes and characters of the upcoming Silk Road Paradise theme park being built in Xi’an, China.

The film follows a scientist and her two grandchildren as they accidentally embark on a journey through time and dimensions, which strands them in the Silk Road Paradise, where they must collect crystals to power their journey home. Steve has provided a fun and exhilarating score to accompany this exciting animated short, directed by Shaofu Zhang.
