‘Songs of Earth’ Official Selection in 2023 DOC NYC’s Winners Circle

Songs of Earth DOC NYC Winner's Circle

DOC NYC is America’s largest documentary festival, boasting a reputation for screening documentary features that go on to win the Academy Award for the past decade, as well as 24 of the last 25 Oscar-nominated documentary features.

This year the Norwegian nature documentary Songs of Earth, scored by Rebekka Karijord and directed by Margreth Olin, is an official selection in the DOC NYC Winner's Circle program. The film has already been selected as Norway's Oscar submission for Best International Feature, as well as premiered in film festivals such as CPH:DOX and TIFF to high critical acclaim.

Songs of Earth will be making its New York Premiere at DOC NYC on Friday November 10 at 4PM at the IFC Center. The first screening will be followed by a Q&A with sound designer Tormod Ringens. For tickets and more information about the screening or the festival click the link here.
