Disney Launchpad Short “Project CC”, Scored by EmmoLei Sankofa, Premieres with OST Release

The Walt Disney Pictures Launchpad Short Project CC, scored by EmmoLei Sankofa (she/her) and directed by Cashmere Jasmine, premieres on Disney+ today! Part of the second season of the Disney Launchpad series, the story is about "a brilliant child scientist [who] must join forces with her sister when a cloning experiment goes awry."

EmmoLei invites listeners to "check out a Disney score with the signature EmmoLei flare to it." While her typical sonic palette involves a more unorthodox instrumentation, Project CC exemplifies a much more "traditional" score. Ultimately EmmoLei is adeptly able to work within the realm of even a more conventionally orchestrated score while still maintaining her sonic identity.
