Caleb & Brian Chan Score Apple TV+ series ‘Pinecone & Pony’ Season 2

Composing duo Caleb & Brian Chan have returned to score the second season of the Apple TV+ series ‘Pinecone & Pony’, a fan-favorite based off of New York Times bestselling author Kate Beaton’s book ‘The Princess and the Pony’. The animated comedy series is produced by DreamWorks Animation alongside First Generation Films and Atomic Cartoons, executive produced by showrunner Stephanie Kaliner.

The eight-episode second season continues warrior-in-training Pinecone’s adventures with her companion Pony as they learn how to be true heroes and make friends, with soaring orchestral fanfares and strummed-filled folk-guitars to bring the magic of the show alive.

The charming storytelling and excellent production of this series have already attracted critical recognition and acclaim. Recently the show has received a GLAAD Media Award nomination for “Outstanding Children’s Programming,” and the Chan brothers garnered a Canadian Screen Music Awards (CASMA) nomination for “Best Original Score for a Children’s Program or Series” for their score to the first season.
