“And Now I Lay Me Down”, Scored by Brad Oberhofer, Official Selection of 2024 LA Shorts International Film Fest

The LA Shorts International Film Festival is the longest-running short film festival in Los Angeles and is accredited by several institutions, including the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences, BAFTA, and the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television. Running this year from July 17 - 28, 2024, the festival attracts thousands of attendees including Hollywood industry professionals and emerging undiscovered independent filmmakers.

The short comedy “And Now I Lay Me Down”, scored by Brad Oberhofer and directed by Rani DeMuth, will be screening this weekend at LA Shorts as an official selection. The film follows fading actress Celia Dalvi as she arranges her perfect day, only to find it becomes one of her worst. Starring Emmy-nominated actress Jane Kaczmarek, this film originally held its world premiere at the 2024 Santa Barbara International Film Festival and will also be an upcoming official selection at this year’s HollyShorts Film Festival later in August.

The film will be screened July 20th at 3:15PM at the Regal Cinema at LA Live. For tickets and more information about LA Shorts please click here.
